Sonny first major breakthrough came when spotted by Renaissance and installed as their resident along with selection by Mixmag to be one of the original future hero’s alongside the talents of Nic Fanciulli, Gareth Emery and Tom Neville. The catalyst had been ignited leading to Manumission offering a weekly Ibiza residency shortly followed by appearances at Amnesia for Renaissance at their prestigious opening and closing parties supporting both John Digweed and Sander Kleinenberg. Since then he’s racked up slots at the likes of Ministry Of Sound, Pacha, Godskitchen, Chibuku and Renaissance, rocked numerous clubs and festivals internationally in Australia, Brazil, China, Mexico, Morocco, Ibiza, Russia, Spain and USA, held down a monthly residency in Barcelona, completed two solo world tours and played to over 1 million people at The Love Parade in Berlin, Germany. No stranger to radio and TV Sonny’s completed 3 prestigious guest mixes for national institution Radio 1, in additions to countless live interviews over phone and in person, appeared on the radio waves of Galaxy/Ministry Of Sound Radio/Kiss and been featured on MTV. Having honed his prime talent in club land Sonny has also committed a lot of time in the studio over the last 12months with his productions and remixes becoming some of the biggest tunes of the year for the likes of Pete Tong, Sander Kleinenberg, Mark Knight, Steve Angello and Roger Sanchez along with them featuring on countless major radio stations and mix compilations alike.
